Rock the Chains Battle of the Bands Benefit Concert is tonight, Friday, May 1 at 7pm at Brentwood United Methodist Church. A group of teens from local area high schools have banned together to make this benefit an awareness tool on modern day slavery. These socially active kids consider themselves abolitionists, fighters of slavery. Come learn more about this plague on modern day society. Seven high school bands will be competing for the grand prize of playing at Rockettown. Admission is $10 and very cool tshirts are available for $10. This event will be thoroughly chaperoned, and no attendees will be allowed out of the building. The event ends at 10 p.m. and prompt pickup of teens would be appreciated.
